Hiking - Walking: Levington Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: 4 1/2 mile (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
After this mornings nice windsurf session Mag and I decided to make the
most of the good weather and donned our walking boots and headed up river
toward Levington creek. With yesterdays day of rain the path was very muddy
in places but we were out nearly 3 hours covering four and a half miles
with no broken bones !!! With the tide really low we got a good veiw of the
hundreds of waders and even saw our egret in the creek again. We then walked
the duck boarded section down from Levington church and on reaching the
R.Orwell again turned right and walked on the top path nearly all the way
to Nacton !!! and then back along the beach, arriving back at the van at
approx. 5 knackered again !!!
So what a top weekend, two long walks,a windsurf session and England beat
France in the rugby :)
